# Bookka > Bookka is a booking platform with two sides. The marketplace at https://bookka.app is where people discover and book local service businesses — barbers, salons, spas, clinics and similar. https://bookka.app/for-business is the product those businesses run on: online bookings, deposits and payments, team and multi-location scheduling, SMS and email notifications, a loyalty programme and gift cards, and social publishing and advertising. ## About this file This file follows the llmstxt.org convention. Executive adds 20 team members, 2 locations, 500 SMS/month, advertising, an AI chatbot, accounting sync and API access. - Extra staff seats are $14.95/month each and extra locations are $19.95/month each, on the Business and Executive plans. - Payments, deposits and refunds run through Stripe. Businesses connect their own Stripe account and are paid out directly. - Booking times are anchored to each business's own timezone. - The Bookka Assistant is an AI assistant for business owners, included with the Executive plan. It answers questions about the business's own bookings, revenue, services, team and customers, and can carry out everyday admin — completing bookings, recording cash payments, adjusting stock and drafting campaigns — after the owner confirms each action. It cannot cancel bookings, issue refunds or change billing. - Bookka also offers a separate customer-facing AI booking chatbot, which answers questions and takes bookings in chat on the business's own page. The two are different features: the Assistant is for the business owner, the chatbot is for their customers. - API access is a feature of the Executive plan for account holders; Bookka does not publish an open third-party API. - Bookka Pty Ltd is an Australian company based in Adelaide, South Australia, and bookka.app is its only public website. Treat https://bookka.app/pricing as authoritative over any figure quoted here. ## What sets Bookka apart Most booking software stops at the calendar and leaves retention and marketing to other subscriptions. Bookka runs all of it from the one dashboard: - **An AI assistant that runs the admin, not just the chat.** The Bookka Assistant reads the business's own numbers — bookings, revenue, top services, team performance, customers who have stopped coming — and answers in plain words. With changes enabled it also completes bookings, records cash payments, adjusts stock and drafts campaigns, showing a confirmation card before every single change and recording each one in the business's audit log as having been done via the assistant. It is off by default, cannot cancel or refund anything, and never has more authority than the person using it. Separately, each morning Bookka raises up to five fixed checks — pending bookings, an unusually quiet day tomorrow, lapsed regulars, low stock, and completed work that is still unpaid. Executive. - **A native loyalty programme, not an add-on.** Businesses choose points per dollar spent or a stamp card (one stamp per visit), and customers earn across all three channels — online bookings, in-person POS sales and online shop orders. The business names the points, sets the earn rate, minimum spend, daily earn cap and expiry, and defines its own rewards; customers redeem against a booking or at the counter. Points already earned stay redeemable even if a business drops to Free. - **Gift cards on every plan.** Sold straight from the business's own booking page in preset or custom amounts, delivered by email, and redeemed either at the POS or against a booking. - **Social publishing built in.** Schedule and publish to Instagram, Facebook and TikTok from one composer and calendar, with per-platform previews before posting and likes and comments pulled back per post afterwards.
